Remember how I told you all to drop by http://thescreamingmeme.blogspot.com/ to attend her faux painting classes? Well I have to admit I was feeling so bummed that I had nothing to paint let alone try all those wonderful techniques on...... and then it happened! The table I spray painted black for our bedroom wasn't working and needed a little tweaking! So, I broke out the paint and brush and dry brushed some espresso paint over the entire table and voila....perfect! Now the table isn't as harsh looking and matches so much better! Look around your house....maybe you have a piece that just needs a little tweaking!

I finally got the bedding done for the babies new bed that I got at Hobby Lobby for $34 last week. I won't even tell you how long it took me to make the little bedskirt....it is so ridiculous! Then once I got it all done and went to put it on I realized there were little braces underneath that keep it from hanging down straight. *sigh* No worries though...the babies think it is fabulous as is and love it. I'm thinking it needs a monogram possibly.........

This weekend the Mr. and I took a little road trip to KC for our anniversary and to do a little shopping! You probably heard me squeal with delight when I spotted this tall cloche at Homegoods?!?!?! I have really been trying to use great restraint and not buy any home decor items since our house is for sale. However this cloche was a must have even though I had no idea at the time where it would go once I got it home. I have wanted a tall cloche for ages and this beauty was only $12!!! More on the trip later..............

Well as you can see my blog is a lot different now!?!?!? It seems my blog fell into the big black hole of cyber space and couldn't be found so I had no choice but to delete my old blog and start all over again. *sigh* Please hang in there while I rebuild my blog.
