A project..............

Thought I would share one of the projects I have been working on lately. Notice I said one....can you spot the other project? Joni from http://cotedetexas.blogspot.com/ convinced me that the table in front of my sofa needed to be painted grey. So, I decided to take the plunge and tackle it. Apparently I have a lot to learn about paint and color because it took me three attempts to achieve the "right" grey! In the end I ended up mixing my own color using paints I had around the house. Baby It's Cold Outside.......

Isn't this quite the site? My designer dog in his barktique sweater sitting in his designer chair on top of a silk pillow covered by a dish towel!!!! Why a dish towel you ask......because silly a regular blanket is too heavy! LOL....The things you do for your fur babies! It has been unbelievably cold here and of course living in an old house it is quite drafty and just plain ole cold!!!! My poor babies think they are freezing to death and so does my big baby too!

I'm a little late posting the Christmas pics I'm afraid but hey...better late than never right?!?!?! Since our house is still technically on the market I didn't do as much as I normally do just in case we should actually have a showing. (stop laughing) Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!!!!!!

A year ago......

Simon a year ago after being attacked by a coyote in our yard.

My precious miracle baby today!

Last year on Thanksgiving evening my poor baby Simon was attacked by a coyote in our front yard. He spent three days in the animal hospital and had a very long road to recovery. Today he is back to his old self and very healthy despite the injuries he suffered. I can't even imagine life without my cutie pie and am so thankful he made it thru okay!
