Bad doggie!

Sweet and innocent? I think not~!

Our listing on the house expires soon and since we are more than unsatisfied with our current realtor we have been interviewing new ones. Today we had two come by to see who is the best candidate. While we were upstairs showing the realtor the bedrooms I turned around and much to my horror there were two little tootsie rolls on the floor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, I discretely pointed it out to my husband and while I kept the realtor busy in the other room he quickly cleaned it up! The funny part is Teddy didn't care for the realtor and neither did we! LOL..Guess those doggies are pretty smart huh? Have a great weekend everyone!!!! We are expecting a huge snow storm...........

The rose bush is budding.......

Spring is finally here and I don't know of a single person who isn't ready?!?!? Yesterday the wind blew 50 mph with gusts in some areas over 90 mph! The wind ripped our Honeysuckle vine and trellis out of the ground and now it is laying there sadly waiting to be revived. Looks like we will need an industrial strength trellis in the future if the vine survives. Luckily we didn't have any other damage....we've already put two roofs on the house in less than six years and that is enough for me. So, what are all of you up to this week?

Isn't this the sweetest little nest?

Last night my hubby was outside in the front yard with the dogs walking around when he found this adorable little nest under the Persimmon tree. I nestled it inside this plant placed in an antique urn. Isn't it just the sweetest thing?

The crowning touch......

Lately I have noticed decorative crowns turning up everywhere! I have been admiring them at a few boutiques for months now but just couldn't bring myself to spend the bucks on something so trendy. Then two weeks ago I was in Hobby Lobby and saw a few crowns but not a single one was priced which is typical of our store here so I passed them up. Today while I was there returning a garden planter I decided to look and see if they had them priced yet and possibly on sale?!??! Well of course none of them were priced but while digging around I found this little crown which was actually priced and it was even cuter!!!! It was a steal priced at $14 but imagine my surprise when I got up to the register to check out and it was half price!!! WooHoo!!! Gotta love a bargain!!!!

One thing leads to another!

I have never liked the mirror above the sideboard in the dining room...... so I took it to the consignment shop and sold it! As it turns out that was the easy part! Finding a new mirror to fit that would not break the bank proved to be a job all in itself! I won't even tell you how many trys it took to find the right one.....let's just say my husband was relieved when I finally settled on this one. Of course a new mirror meant re-arranging the whole sideboard for a fresh new look. Everything I used was stuff I had around the house except for the big white platter which I ordered online from Target. They have lots of pretty white pieces.....I think I hear a few more pieces calling to me!! Oh and yes....the apples are real! Have a great weekend everybody!!!!
