Waiting for sunshine…….

It seems as though the sunshine will never shine again……it just keeps raining and raining! So, what’s a girl to do? Decorate of course! I have been working on the dining room on and off for quite a while trying to find the perfect mix of old and new to achieve the perfect French farmhouse feeling for the room. Finally one day I realized that the sideboard while quite beautiful was truly too big for the wall it was on. I agonized for quite a while on whether I should just live with it or sell the piece and replace it with something that better fit the space. Of course while out and about one day I stumbled upon this wonderful reproduction French baker’s table and knew it was the  perfect piece for the spot. So, while it was hard to say good bye to the sideboard as soon as this piece was in it’s new home I knew I had made the right decision. Some things are just meant to be………

I love that table and that bottle!! You have the Ballard's drapes that match my bench at the end of my bed and my two shams. I had thought about getting those, but never have. I love your dining room.

Your new find is beautiful and looks perfect in you space between those gorgeous drapes. Everything you do is so dreamy, I need to read back to see pics of your sideboard. That Trumeau mirror is lovely. You are so lucky to live in an area where you have all these great "finds"!
