Switching things up a bit…..

My design assistant is a little under the weather right now. Not to worry though…..a trip to the vet and a lot of rest and he should be good as new in no time! However without my dedicated assistant constantly by my side I am a little lost………..

Added a few branches in an urn and a little birdie nest……..The little nest was home to a family of Cardinals in our rose bush in the back yard this spring.

Fall has definitely arrived…..I spent the afternoon picking up walnuts that just keep falling and falling from the tree. I haven’t even begun to pick up pears yet!

Beautiful displays as usual. I hope your little one feels well soon. Bailey hasn't felt very good either. She got sick a few times this morning, but so far she is fine. I hate when they don't feel good.

i hope your little assistant feels well soon. it's such a shame that they can't tell us what is wrong.

I love, love, love your vignette. The branches look stunning and the little nest is precious!

Good luck with the walnuts...we have about 4 trees in our backyard and it's just about time for them to start making their mess {and driving the squirrels crazy!}.

XO,
Janie

Hello. Your vignette is beautiful. I love the pastry table. I actually found last week in Pasadena. (I did a little antique shopping after the home tour). Have been trying to justify buying it. But I am afraid I may have to pass it up this time. Your blog is charming. I will be back for a visit

Hi Desarae,
You have created a gorgeous vignette on that great looking table. You really have the touch.
How nice to have pear and walnut trees on your property.
