Happy Wednesday everyone!
A few weeks ago while out running errands I popped into Gallery Classic to check out their new shipment of European antiques. Amongst all the wonderful things they shipped back was this vintage wine bottle. It immediately caught my eye because of the unique shape. Most wine bottles are round but this one is oval and is the most wonderful pale blue in color! After moving it from one spot to another it finally came to rest on this table in my living room. However it just needed something else and of course while browsing on eBay one day I found these antique French rosary beads made out of silver and mother of pearl. I was immediately smitten and didn’t wait for the auction to end…I used the Buy It Now feature so they could be mine right away! What can I say? I am love with these beautiful beads and now find myself looking for even more so I guess you could say a new collection is born?!?!?!?!?
Have a wonderful week!
It’s finally here…….so, kick off your boots and enjoy the weekend!
Original bead board and time worn treads tell a story………..
Old books……..
Have a fabulous weekend everyone!

We recently decided to repaint the den a grey color. This of course led to re-painting the adjoining powder room to match.
Here you can see it was a robins egg blue….. which was a pretty color but not quite what I had in mind originally.
And here is the new grey color….much better!
More photos of the room! Why you ask? Because I got a new camera…..yay!
I have had this cute little stool for…. forever…. and decided recently to add this little slipcover to it and set it in front of the sink. There was a small mishap with the sink skirt while painting the room so new fabric had to be ordered and a new skirt will have to be made.
So there you have it…..a small transformation and some random photos! Hope you are having a fabulous week?!?!?!
Chat with ya soon!!!

I have NO idea where time has gone but the summer seems to be just flying by?!?!? With that said I thought I would share a pic of ONE of our summer projects…..a Koi pond. The pond itself is finished but we are still working on the landscaping around the pond. It is temporarily on hold though until the temps drop back down to under 100*. Our little guys are not interested much in the pond but our big girl Judy loves it and has taken to swimming laps daily to cool down. Stay tuned…..I have been a painting fool lately and will have more pics soon!
Edited to add a pic of Judy taking her daily swim:
