Flippin books!

booksA

 This is how the vasselier

looked before

I decided to flip the books

around so that

the pages show instead of

the spine of the book.

books C

Here is the after…. thought

I would switch things

up and try something different.

books B

My assistant…..he simply

insisted that

he be

in the picture and

would not move no matter

how many times

I asked him to!

books 018

So there you have it….

I’m not sure how long I will

leave it that way but

it’s nice to change things

up every

once in a while!

I like them flipped. Very old world. Following your new Linky.

I love how that looks! Actually, I did that with some of my books too in the family room. I like the look of the old pages. I'd like to get more old books so I could have a huge pile in my glass cabinet. The messier looking the better! Ha! Don't you just love a quick change like that (also free)? I think you should leave them like that.

I have flipped my books, too. Some people think it's crazy, but I love it....the neutralness is so calming. Nice look! Linda

Beautifully done. Love the way the books are piled in there. They say come grab one and take a look.

I am featuring your dining table tonight on Wow.

It adds to your neutral palette. I must be able to see and grab my books I fear. hugs, olive

You need to have another photo shoot at your house...your home is always magazine worthy! I love the idea of "flipping" books.

Love it! Your room is simply gorgeous and I am loving the paint color on your walls.
The chairs, the sisal, the collections in your hutch --- awesome!

My dogs and cats are the same way.
One of them always shows up as the flashes are going off and they come out to see what mom is doing!

Too funny. Love your sweet little furry love!

I love this look, especially that they seem to be "stashed" randomly. that piece of furniture is just amazing!

I keep seeing the flipped books here and there, and I really like the look, but the anal part of me thinks I'd have to turn them right back around the way their "suppose" to be. I never follow the rules, so how come this one seems like it would be hard not too?
