What I’m painting….this week!

After moving the new

table in to the dining room I

decided to lighten

things up

and paint one of the grey

shutters…..white!

white shutter 001

grey shutters

Here they are before……

white shutter 003

And now after……

white shutter 008

---------

I decided to only hang one

shutter back up……I also only painted one shutter.

If I tire of the white I can always

hang the other grey shutter back up.

Hope you will consider

following me

on Google Friends Connect

or with the new

 Linky Follower option….

Des, I love your shutter! I have one over a bed. They make such an usual decorative accents! Your shutter looks lovely! What a gorgeous room!

I like that - I'm into "cleaner and lighter" myself! Still drooling over your dining room table! Linda

BTW, where did y'all get the legs for the table? Linda

I love both ways actually. It's always fun to make a change though. I know I do that regularly! I like how you used them on the wall like that.

That looks great! I have one of those I've been pondering what to do with it? It may be my newest art in the bedroom! hmmm...

Hi Des,
That is a good idea, just to use one at a time, then swap one out for the other. Even though it is white on white, the shutter has the texture and interest!
Looks fantastic!
Have a great weekend...
All the Best,
Christine

What a clean, fresh look, Des. I do like the gray, too, so I can see why you kept it. Have a great day!

I am following you on Linky Followers; would you kindly follow me, too?

I love olden shutters so much and buy every one I find. Just not finding many these days.
Yours looks great, white or gray.

Deserae, your shutter is very pretty. Good idea to only hang the one you painted.

Found your dining-room feature at Savvy and it's just gorgeous, the whole room looks great. I love both shutters, but it's nice to change things up once in a while, isn't it. Love your whole house actually so following you on both gfc and the Linky - really we have no idea what is going to happen, do we !!!
