A forgotten about treasure…..

Recently while working

on a project in the kitchen I realized I had totally

forgotten to share a little treasure………

my enamelware bread box I found at a little antique

shop several months ago.

I have wanted one for many years and was

so thrilled when I finally found this one for an affordable price!

I love the rust….. and the chippy-ness!

I picked up this Turkish towel a few weeks

ago too from www.westelm.com.

Originally I was going to use it in the guest

bathroom but the background

is more of a cream than white so it didn’t quite match all

my other white towels I am using in there.

The enamel bread box is gorgeous! Love the chips too. We just put down a new wood floor in our kitchen and having our cabinets painted white. I LOVE the look of your kitchen and mine will be done in a few weeks. The bread box looks fabulous with the white cabinets.

Oh I just love your new bread box and towel! I've coveted those vintage bread boxes for a while now and you're right, they're hard to find and usually expensive. The towel you bought is perfect in your kitchen. I've heard that those turkish towels are extra soft and absorbent too.

I love the bread box...it looks so "antiquey" (Is that a word?). The towel is sweet, love the fringe!

Have a great day, Des!
