Lightning, thunder……….and SNOW!

This morning we awoke

to  lots of lightning and thunder…..and snow!

In all my years I have never seen anything like it!

We received over four inches of snow in just an hour and it is

supposed to continue thru out the day!

Here are a few pics so far……

I don't know where you're at, but I'm in the Kansas City area and we're getting the same thing. The last time we had snow with thunder and lightning was in the late 90's. It's something.

It is so pretty to look at but I know it can be treacherous as well. Take care and stay warm. Looks like a hot chocolate morning to mr. :)

Wow! I am SOOOOOOO jealous! Some people may say that is strange, but I'm a southern gal that rarely sees snow. It's beautiful! Hope you're inside where it's warm and you're having a nice time looking at it.

Oh, one more thing! I just noticed the "Principal's Office" sign on the outside wall of your house. So neat! I recall you live in an old schoolhouse.

Well we finally got the snow my kids were wishing for at Christmas. I think it's beautiful, but my husband, who is blading the driveway for the second time, does not share my view.

Stay safe!

It's very interesting to have thunder with snow. It did the same thing here last week and I was confused. We only got a dusting of snow. Your photo's are nice. Throughmyporchwindow.blogspot.com

On no Des, that is quite the combination of weather. Put on the fashionable snow boots and play! after the thunder...
