What’s new around the house……

I have always loved butter slabs…..

The antique ones can be quite pricey although there are

reproductions that are pretty reasonable.

The other day while

browsing at Williams Sonoma I came across

this fromage slab.

It was on sale…….. and although

it isn’t the butter slab I have been coveting

for ages, I simply couldn’t resist it!

My friend Kelly over at The Essence of Home picked one up too!

Be sure to stop by her place….

she has a stunning home that is always changing!

For now mine found a spot next to the stove.

I’m changing things up a bit in my kitchen so it might find a

different spot before it is all said and done?

I almost picked that up at the outlet store, but didn't. I have a butter one so I didn't grab it. May have to go back and see if it is still there.

I love how you used it Des! It gives me an idea if I ever want to change mine up. (As if I would ever do a thing like that. Ha!) Thanks so much for the shout-out too. I'm so thankful you let me know about this slab so I could purchase it as well.

Hi Des, I love your new fromage slab and what you have done with it. I have been looking for a tray to put my olive oils on. I think I will head over to WS tomorrow and see if they have one. I too have loved the Butter slabs but have been deterred by the price. Thanks for sharing your find! ~Kristie

I saw that one at the outlet last weekend. The Williams Sonoma Outlet is my favorite. It looks great in your kitchen Des.
