A life preserver…..

A few weeks ago when we

were at the antique market one of the dealers had these

fabulous life preservers.

I wanted one oh so badly

but they were really expensive……so I had to pass.

As luck would have it though I found one at an antique mall

we stopped at on the way back home!

The best part was is was 1/4 of the price of the ones we saw

at the antique market.

Mine isn’t as old as the ones we saw at the market but then

again I didn’t pay the big bucks for it either.

I hung it in the master bathroom over the shower.

It is impossible to get a good

picture of it since our master bathroom is a little on the tiny side.

I like that is adds an unexpected

touch to a space

that would otherwise be pretty boring.

Could you share the paint color in your bathroom. I'm in the painful picking out paint process and have been drawn to gray but my goodness there are so many of them.
Thanks,
Lucinda

Des,
How fun is that life preserver on your bathroom shower wall. I love it. Brings some pretty and whimsy all at the same time. So great.

That is a clever place for it and it looks great! Isn't it amazing how you go to one place and the prices are so high and then go to another and find what you are looking for at a great price?

It makes perfect sense to hang that life preserver in your bathroom! I think it's so unique. Love that you found one more affordable.

That's great that you got such a better price! Love it when that happens. :) Looks great in your bathroom too. Love the black and white floors in there!

I love this!! Your master bath looks anything but boring. Everything you do is so elegant, even hanging an old life preserver!

I love your whole home! May I ask what color you used in your bathroom? I stopped by your paint colors section and did not find it there. Is it painted Titanium as well? Thank you!
