Hi Des! I just saw the feature of your style and home on Pamela's blog and I was inspired to come see your blog in full! I'm sorry I hadn't known about it before, but I will be following from now on! Your color scheme is exactly what I've been considering for our master bedroom and I love your dining room! That armoire you found on CL is gorgeous - I've never seen anything like it! Thank you for sharing such beauty and inspiration! Hugs Leena

I was so glad that I got to take a peek of your home. Your decorating is always very inspiring to me and gives me great ideas for my own home. I didn't know that you loved color? I just bought a sofa this weekend and it's a light cream color. It's very pretty, but I hope I will like it when it gets here, as most of the other rooms are a bit darker. I wanted something lighter for the living room. I love all your dark furniture. I would never change my dark wood for anything. It's traditional and classic, and I think I will always love it. Thanks for the tour of your home. I know I've told you before, but I LOVE THAT HUTCH.

Des, your home is beautiful and I just love the way you decorate. I also love old beautiful furniture and have a few treasured pieces from a aunt that I love.
Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us.
Have a terrific week.
