The beauty of silver…..

e

With the big day only a couple of days off I’m sure

many people are rushing around making

last minute  preparations.

Some of which are probably polishing the good silver.

While I think polished silver is indeed beautiful

I am especially drawn to pieces with lots of patina!

I hope these pics inspire you……

I also hope you take time to stop and enjoy

the holiday with those you love!

I am so thankful for all of you who stop

by day and after day and take time to leave a comment.

I have made so many friends over the years……

Happy Thanksgiving!

Gorgeous inspirational photos Des! I am gong to my nieces house for Thanksgiving so I don't have to polish any silver this year. LOL. I do have some baking to do to take with me though. I will make some chocolate pies tomorrow and then a sweet potato casserole on Thursday. My house is going to smell GOOD! Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving too.

Beautiful pictures, Des! I'll pretty much be in the kitchen all day Wednesday preparing lots and lots of goodies for the big day. (I actually love the baking part of the holidays) My youngest had a last minute request for some pretzel hugs candy, so I was at the store again today gathering ingredients for those. Hopefully, I can stay out of the busy stores tomorrow. :) Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving too!

Oh Des, I can't tell you how much I love the patina of good old silver. My oldest son simply freaks out over it!! And the thought that he is eating off of someone elses silver!!! Oh, what's a mother to do!! Maybe he will buy me a new set one day! lol!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Jane
