One year……

A year ago we adopted our sweet little Yorkie Booger.

His family no longer had time in

their lives for him and asked that we please take him.

(Booger the day after we brought him home)

At the time we already had two Yorkies and a Border Collie/Lab

so we didn’t plan on adopting another dog.

However the thought of him staying in a home where he was

neglected broke my heart!

So, I said yes……we would give him a new home.

Booger adjusted immediately, as though he had always lived here.

He is absolutely the sweetest boy!

He has the funniest animated looks and

is a bit of a drama queen!

A few months ago our sweet Yorkie Simon passed away

so we are a two Yorkie household again…..

I cannot imagine our lives without our sweet Booger.

Mommy loves you baby boy!

Have a great week my friends!

A big THANK YOU to all my friends who open their

hearts and homes to rescue sweet fur babies!!!!!

He is just the sweetest boy! I'm so glad you found each other. :) I just love seeing pics of your fur babies!! We've had our little Holly cat for about a year and a half now. She was the last one from a litter and her family couldn't find a home for her, so our veterinarian took her in. I just happened to call the vet the day she arrived there to ask if they had any kittens looking for a home. (this particular vet often takes in animals that are looking for a home) Anyway, it was perfect timing. We had sweet Holly in our arms about an hour after I called the vet. He even gave her the first set of shots for free!

Good Morning Des. He is so adorable and you are an angel to bring him into your forever family. This was a very heart warming post to read and start my week off. Thank you for sharing this. Look at that face how could anyone ever say no to that sweet face!
Hugs to Booger and to you for taking him in.

Oh he's so cute, Deserae. He looks so small. I imagine they don't get very big. So sorry to hear about your other Yorkie. It was great that you took him in when he needed a home. That's a special thing to do. He gives you lots of love in return.

We adopted our neighbor's cockapoo about four years ago. I knew when they bought the dog it wasn't going to work out. They weren't home very much and the poor puppy sat in a crate a lot. When they told us they were looking for someone to adopt him we decided to. He came to us with some bad habits but he's such a good dog and we're happy he's a part of our family. What a lucky boy your Booger is!! Love his name!! : ) So sorry for the loss of your other little guy. : (
