TGIF!!!!!

When my husband and I were

first married I decorated our home with country primitives.

Then I became smitten with European antiques

so I slowly sold most of the primitive pieces.

I still love the style though….sometimes I wish I had two houses

so I could have the best of both worlds.

Classic Beauty A white-and-blue color palette creates a classic look in this living room. Multiple shades of white for the walls, trim, and furniture complemented by accent pieces in light and dark hues of blue mimic the ocean and sky in this seaside cottage home.

Happy Friday Des. Sigh... I do agree.
When we for married I decorated in traditional style.. then slowly changed over to primitive Americana. It worked so well for us and two little boys. Next came French cottage. LUV!!! When we moved again , we agreed on a artisan vibe and slowly over there last 2 years I find us moving back to a French cottage. But I do miss my primitive pieces as well.

They'e all so beautiful like a bed and breakfast. So homey and inviting! I know what you mean. Sometimes I feel like my styles get crossed and confused. It would be nice to be able to decorate two different houses! ;)

I love your home. I am mostly a traditional decorator. I do like English Cottage, but for my hubbies comfort I refrain from that style. But lately I have found myself loving the country decorating again.

Wouldn't that be so nice if we could all have several homes to decorate in different styles? Oh how much fun that would be! :) Happy weekend, Des!

Deserae,
You know, when I first got married I decorated my home in country décor, but then gradually through the years, I changed the look to European. But my heart will always have a love for country décor. These red, white, and blue rooms have a patriotic flare to them.

love,
