A little chair re-do……


I decided to re-cover this little chair in the living room the other day. The existing fabric wasn’t bad but didn’t match the other pieces in the room. I had a fabric remnant leftover from a previous project and decided it would be perfect for this chair.

Sorry I don’t have a better before picture……I seem to never remember to take a picture before I start a project!

Originally I was going to use welting that was the same as the fabric but then I remembered I had this French gimp leftover from a different project. Since the color of the gimp was an exact match I decided to go with it……

We are having another cloudy day, sorry the pictures are a little dark…..

You used my favorite fabric for this chair. I'm not kidding! I love plaids, especially large motifs with subtle, neutral colors, and that armoire is stunning!
