Another rug……

Finding the perfect rug can be a  daunting task…..
they are certainly an investment and
can cost as much as a car so you definitely want to get it right!
I wasn’t that lucky……
It took me a few tries to get it right!

I was so disappointed when the rugs I ordered from Soft Surroundings were a bust.
It took over a month for them to give me a
refund and to this day I still have not received the sleeves to return them that I requested.

The new rug coordinates nicely with the rug on the other side of the room.
I ordered a nice thick rug pad to go underneath….which got lost during shipment!!
It was a total nightmare to track it down and a new one had to be sent out….FedEx will be on my bad side for a while!!!!

I am soooooo HAPPY to be able to finally check this task off my list!!!!!

that is a beautiful rug! I don't blame you for being frustrated with the way your past rug purchases worked out. I'm glad this one finally won your heart. I know all too well about not getting things right on the first try!

Love the new rug Des. Gorgeous. Sorry you had such trouble with the others. Where did you finally find your rug?

Des, that rug is just gorgeous, but I have always loved your choices. I am in the same fix now, needing an accent rug in front of my new sofa. I remember you said sea grass was the softest as I don't want it rough and scratchy. An oriental type would be an option too. I'm even toying with a shag in a neutral color??? Too many decisions and I don't want to make the wrong one..Happy Easter..Judy

Your rug dilemma has made me reconsider ever getting laminate wood flooring throughout our home. I have always wanted wood flooring because of how it looks, but we have always had carpet and it is so cozy. I know carpet is never in style, but I have noticed that everyone whom has wood flooring also has large rugs. That is another huge expense. Not to mention stress.

I am glad you finally found a rug that you are happy with.

Happy Easter xo

The rug is lovely. I so want to know where you finally found the perfect one. The rug and curtain simply pull the room together.

This is such a pretty rug... I love the soothing blue color. I cannot imagine the headache you went through shipping rugs back... What a nightmare.!

Love the gray rug too but you never said where you got it. Please share that info with all of us and the other natural fiber rugs you have all over your home too. Love that source too. Are they seagrass?
I got a natural fiber rug from Pottery Barn and very disappointed with it. Yours might be what I need. Thanks so much!

Both Oushak rugs in my living room are handmade and one of a kind. They were purchased at auction. All of the seagrass rugs in my home are from Overstock.
