Fox cubs……

Yesterday while heating my lunch in the microwave I looked out the window to the backyard. I saw three kittens out by our shed. We have a feral cat problem because someone in the neighborhood feeds them…..I was less than thrilled to see yet more kittens. Then I realized their ears were kind of big….and they were such a beautiful color!!!! They were not kittens at all but fox cubs!!!! I am slightly obsessed with them and have to check like every fifteen minutes now to see if they are out playing. I could stand in front of the window and watch them for hours they are sooooooo stinking CUTE!! They usually come out and play for 10 minutes or so and then go back under the shed to nap.

I’m pretty sure my family thinks I am crazy with my new obsession but I don’t care! At first I only saw three cubs but this afternoon there were FIVE of them out playing!!!!!

Have a great weekend!!!!!!

Oh my gosh. How precious! We had foxes in our neighborhood in Oklahoma. They would run like the wind if they saw a person but we'd get peeks of them every so often.

I would be obsessed, too! They are beautiful animals...young and as adults.

Oh, how cute and I would be obsessed, too. I love seeing different critters outside. I get excited to see deer in our yard which is not very often.

We used to have fox cubs in a previous house. The mother crawled up in a dry birdbath where she could nap and the cubs couldn't reach her. It was hilarious!

Hey Des, I am a fellow Kansan and I love your website! You are fortunate to have spotted baby foxes which I believe are called kits too. Thanks and keep inspiring.

Deserae, that must have been a sight for you to see the fox cubs out your window. I just saw one at the zoo recently. They are the cutest things.

Have a nice Sunday.
