The memory tree.......

After my mom died we planted a weeping willow tree in her memory.
Every year we take a picture to document how much the tree has grown and take a moment to remember a very special woman.

Our girl Judy is now fifteen.....it was sad not to have the boys in the picture too!

Have a great week my friends!!!!

I think planting a tree is a wonderful idea. ♥

Just one more reason you should not move from that special house.

The weeping willow tree in memory of your mother is very special, Deserae. How nice that you've watched it grow through the years, and this summer it will provide shade for you and your husband and you can think about your beloved mom.

What a precious way to remember your mom, so heartwarming for all of you, I'm sure. Our daughter and son-in-law planted a tree for each of their three kids when they were born, thought the ideas was wonderful. Take care Des, know you must miss your mom terribly.
Hugs,
Nancy

Such a lovely memorial. We had a weeping willow at the house I grew up in and I loved swinging on its long branches as a girl.

Des what a lovely tribute to your Mother. I love weeping willow trees and we played under one as a child, making up all kinds of adventures!

What a beautiful tree to remind you of your beautiful mom and her beautiful soul. The tree looks like is has such life and spirit. I can imagine the branches swaying in the breeze as if she is speaking to you.
Have a great week Des!
