In the blink of an eye….

One day I was standing in my living room admiring my new white linen slipcover that had just arrived. I was so happy….I finally had my living room just the way I wanted it after years of tweaking and a number of bad decorating mistakes along the way.

Less than 24 hours later…. in the blink of an eye, everything changed! My mother-in-law unexpectantly had to move in with us and I literally had to give up half my house. I had to part with many precious treasures I have had for years and years. We had to do some remodeling since my mother-in-law is disabled so my house has been in disarray for quite some time. I am not going to lie, this has been a very, very hard time of adjustment. So, this is me and my life right now……

Edited to add: If you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all. If you cannot contain yourself and need to write something anyways I WILL DELETE IT.
