I recently decided to lighten up the downstairs powder room.
Since I couldn’t find a toile fabric that I really loved I bought the Matine toile shower curtain from Pottery Barn to make a skirt for the pedestal sink.
I just love this little shaving mirror…rust and all! I picked it up years ago at an auction…….
The view when walking down the little hall from the kitchen…….
Simon wanted to sneak in here and say,”Hi”. Isn’t he a handsome little fella?
The mirror hanging over the glass shelf was the second antique I ever purchased……it is from an estate sale. I love that it is a little cloudy and has imperfections….
Hope you are having a great week!!!!!!!! We are having beautiful fall weather…can’t beat that!

Beautiful skirt Des, love the whole bathroom! Simon is such a cutie!! Martina
LOVE the entire space, especially the touch of toile. Simon is adorable, too. :)
Visiting from Savvy Southern Style. Following you now. :)
Love the toile (and your adorable dog!) I am in the process of making a skirt for my laundry room sink so I am quite impressed by yours! Since I can barely sew, I am trying to figure out a way to do it some other way...should be interesting! Your bathroom looks beautiful!

What a charming bathroom! I had a sink skirt around our sink in the half bath at the last house. I loved it. Our sink at the new house is a funky shape so no skirt. I will just keep admiring yours!:)
Great looking sink with the skirt! I have a pedestal sink in my 1/2 bath. That would be a geat idea to hide things for storage.
I love your bathroom it looks so cozy. The skirt is wonderful with the fresh crisp blue and white fabric. I am going to be on a look out for a cute mirror like yours. The stool is way to cute.

This is lovely, Des! I love toile myself and am hoping to bring some into the guest room in our new home. I found you through Kim at Savvy Southern Style's blog when I was visiting her. I am your newest follower!
