I decided to switch tables behind the settee for a lighter look. Switching the tables was the easy part…..coming up with the perfect paint color….not so much! You see the second table was already painted in a beautiful grey color but when the table was placed behind the settee it didn’t look so great in real life although it photographed beautifully. So, I spent days, (yes you read that correctly) tweaking the color to come up with the final result. Midway thru the project I was ready to give up but being the stubborn person that I am I was determined to find that perfect color and persevered.

Looks wonderful. I love your sofa, and the table looks amazing behind it. I have a gate/leg very similar, great piece. Hugs, Marty
I like them both... of course I love your house either way... and hate mail?? really?
I am reminded of your armoire and how I have a craigslist seller torturing me on whether or not she will sell me hers... ugh.
Looks fabulous Des! As always :)
Love this...and that beautiful fern just looks great on the table!!!
I love your new painted table behind the sofa. It looks like a better color for the room than the dark wood. You are fortunate to have alternatives to work with! Hope you're doing well with your laundry room project too.
I love it!!! It looked good before but now it just pops!!
Des...it looks beautiful!! Do you ever sleep? :)
Hi Des, The table looks wonderful and the entire room is gorgeous!! I just saw your home in Christmas Ideas magazine. Congrats on the beautiful feature.
