Trying not to cry! Though I am blessed to still have my mama alive today though half way across the country I can still feel the pain of thinking that she may not have ever met my children back when she was battling cancer. Continue to treasure all your memories of your mama Des! Our mamas are a true gift from God.

I know how you feel, I keep a birthday card from her, in my nightstand, with her handwriting and read it every so often...it helps!
