Hello! I just found your blog in an article from Country Home 2016. I too live in Kansas and although we don't have an 'old' house to re-do, we are building a home on our land and want it to look old! We have considered using some reclaimed wood flooring from an old school but wonder d if there is a way to treat it (kiln dry?) to make sure it has no insects harboring in it.
