Progress: the side parlor

Things are moving along on the side parlor.
The hearth has been leveled up and the mantel put back on.
We were unable to save the tile. We discovered it was not original, it actually had brown tile originally like the upstairs fireplace.

The trim and walls have been painted and the crown molding is installed. I need to finish cutting in around the trim and then we will be ready to sand the floor.

….. and we need to hang the new light fixture.
SO much to do, so little time!
Have a great week my friends…
