The pier mirror has a new pediment finally!

After searching for almost a year, we 

finally found a pediment

for the pier mirror.

Here you can barely see the pediment

is missing from the top.

Somehow in it's lifetime before we aquired it the pediment

was broken off the top.

I found this chair back on eBay and after

measuring carefully I 

determined it would work. for the mirror.

After a little trimming and some stain

it is a pretty good fit.

You really can hardly tell that the pediment 

is not original until you

look very closely.

The detail is so pretty!
