My sweet husband bought this antique

secretary desk for 

me as a gift for our anniversary.

I had been wanting one for this spot in 

the upstairs hallway for

quite some time.

It did not take me long to fill 

it up with treasures.

Bad days build better days...

The library...

Work on the library is finally complete!

It is a small room at the top of the steps on the second floor. The room gets amazing sunlight all day long. However that made it difficult to get any good pictures.

Another pier mirror....

Yes, that's right....

I went and bought yet another pier mirror. 

It was too good of a deal to resist at only $200.

The other pier mirror has moved to the side parlor.

And, just like the smaller pier mirror this one is missing the top pediment too! The lady I bought the mirror from says she has the pediment but can't remember where it is. She is getting ready to move so hopefully she will find it.
