A new faucet…..

-------

Over the last few weeks the water

pressure in our kitchen has greatly diminished……

as in the water was just trickling out.

At first we thought

maybe there was a water main break which is

not uncommon in our small town.

Especially with the

extreme heat we have had the least few weeks.

After a few days passed though

we realized we had water

pressure in the bathrooms so it was obviously

a problem with our kitchen faucet.

After taking the faucet

a part and cleaning it the conclusion was made

that we needed a new faucet.

Yes, after less than three years our faucet was bad!!!!!!

Your new faucet look like it would actually be fun to do the dishes! OK, maybe not but it is beautiful. You have a lovely kitchen too!

Oh I really love it! It looks like the kind you would see in a commerical restaurant. I bet it makes using your sink alot more enjoyable now. I remember when we got our new faucet (years ago). It was the first time there was ever a fight as to who got to do the dishes! Ha!

Even though I am an oil rubbed bronze fan, I really love your new stainless faucet! You will enjoy it. Your kitchen is gorgeous!

My hubby is a builder. His plumber always told him to get his supplies at our local plumbing store. The ones you buy at the big box stores do not last as long, even though they may be the same name brand. The "insides" are not the same. But if that's what happened, you got a new faucet out of it! ;)

Des, you could have a garden hose for a faucet with that window and I would still not notice. But the faucet is fabulous. xoxo, olive

Des: Your kitchen is beautiful. I don't think I have ever seen it before. Sorry about your faucet, but, not really, because I got to see your kitchen, or a tiny part anyway. Any little bit is good with me..Happy Thursday..Judy

I like the simplicity of a chrome faucet, Des. My own pull-out has a brushed finish that adds a touch of elegance to it. Much as I like an ORB finish, I think it has run its course as far as popularity. In fact, I may return the lockset I purchased and go back to antiqued brass. It is timeless. :-) Sue

Congratulations on your new faucet, Deserae. It definitely looks much better compared to your old faucet. It brings about a modern atmosphere in your kitchen because of its stainless steel material and design. :) Well, did you check the pipes after the installation? The rubber gasket should be tight, as a loose gasket is one of the common reasons of leaking pipes.
