I bought a set of these cute little French chairs to use in my dining room but I ended up using something else instead. So since I needed a chair in the guest bedroom one found a spot there.
I sort of forgot to snap a before photo so I took this right before I started working on the chair.
As I started to work on the chair I realized that it wasn't in as good as condition as I originally thought so it was probably best that I didn't decide to use it in the dining room. I used a shade of light grey paint and then a dark paste wax to finish it off.
The details really stand out now…..
A little slipcovered cushion and a monogrammed pillow were added for the finishing touch……
Have a great week my friends!!!!

It's amazing what a little bit of effort and paint make. Now you have a beautiful chair.

I love what you did to the chair! The whole corner is beautiful.
you always find a way to give so much charm to your furniture with your cute pillows and slips! I love the paint color you selected too. That's a sweet chair now.
Super cute, Des! It looks like a ballerina! Spin. Spin.
So very pretty Des!....Love the beautiful ruffled cushion and loved the way you tied the straps around the legs . . . it is so very sweet, like a tiny dancer.
Also, just love the checked table skirt!
Your chairs are adorable, Des! The added touch of the skirted cushion and ties is so lovely!!

Love it Des!
wow, Deserae, that little chair looks completely different. In the pictures it looks more of a cream paint than a grey. You did a great job on it, and it looks so nice next to the table. I am in love with your crown. :~)
Have a good Wednesday.
