I got this piano off Craig's List
for $50 shortly after
we purchased this house.
I actually purchased the piano stool
before the piano.
However I did not pair the two
together until a couple
of months ago.
The piano music was my mom's.
She played every day
until her arthritis made it too difficult.
The daguerrotype in the front
is of my grandmother
and her brother.
A peek of every day life
around here.

Your piano is very nice, Deserae. What a treasure that you still have your Mom's sheet music. And how special that she played the piano every day. How I wish I stuck with my piano lessons when I was a young girl. The picture of your grandmother is so special too. What a comfort this little space is for you when you pass it each day. : )
