Today I am sharing yet another
Facebook Marketplace find.
This beautiful antique French chair.
The back leg was broken and my darling handyman
glued it back together for me.
The chair had been reupholstered in
the 1940's with a beautiful pink fabric.
The fabric was in fair condition with
a little fading.
However, the room I wanted to use
the chair in does
not have any pink in the decor.
So, I decided to re-upholster the chair.
The chair has a really old label saying
it is a Bergere chair from
1780 to 1790.

That really is an old and special chair, from the 1700's. It must have so many stories to tell. It's so unusually pretty. It looks nice with the grey covering. You always find the most enchanting treasures Deserae.
