Hello friends!
Today I am sharing the renovation of the
hall bathroom on the second floor.
This is what the bathroom looked like before.
It was very pink
and even had carpet.
When we tore the closet out we
discovered the outline
of one of the early toilet tanks on the wall.
We searched and found
one like it on Facebook Marketplace.
We also discovered the bathroom originally
had beadboard walls and a pedestal bathtub so we added
those back too.
The original door knob was cleaned
and polished....

It is just lovely, Des. I rehabbed two old historic houses over the years and it was so much fun to uncover some of the original features of the house and update them to replicate what once was. You did a great job and it looks serene and lovely- xo Diana
