The master bedroom…….

The upstairs renovation

project has been a looooooong journey!

A project that was suppose

to take a few months has now taken almost two years.

The master bedroom was reconfigured

during this process since

this room was originally a secondary bedroom.

The master bedroom was

originally across the hall with a bath in-between

these two rooms.

The door to the bathroom was moved so

that the new master

bedroom would have an ensuite bath.

A walk in closet was also added along with new

drywall,insulation, and wiring.

    Des, it is just gorgeous. Love the chest with the wonderful lamps and the artwork and the nice sized antlers, well, I love it all. Your headboard is not like mine. I thought you got the same one.

    Stunning!! I am actually in the process of painting my master bedroom similar colors. After seeing this, I can't wait to finish it. Just love that chair in the corner. is that a cover on it?

    Oh, Des! What an absolutely beautiful space! You have such a wonderful eye on how to mix things perfectly. Love the way you've used both natural wood (floors, furniture, mirror) with painted wood (bench, armchair) and you've even very skillfully included a silver-framed mirror! That's not easy to keep those all in balance but you do it fabulously! Love the little dog bed, too. You do the details so well and make it all have such an easy grace. Love the way you leave open space to be able to better enjoy the things in the room. Bravo!
