That wood chest would probably warp terribly on my porch with all the humidity we have. Everything on my porch needs lots of protection. Even my outdoor pillows have to be made with the outdoor fabric so they don't mildew. That's a great looking chest though. Looking forward to seeing what you're working on!

I dream of a big front porch too. I can envision myself out there sipping sweet tea and enjoying the flowers. :) I'd also paint the porch ceiling sky blue. Maybe some day I'll have a porch big enough for all that. :) Don't work too hard this weekend.
