A few weeks ago I came across an antique chamber pot at an antique shop. The price was really good since the lid had a crack however I couldn’t think of a spot for it so I passed on it. A few days later when I was in the bathroom taking a shower little Miss Gracie discovered how fun it is to dig in the trash and rip it into itsy bitsy pieces! That’s when it occurred to me that the ironstone chamber pot would be the perfect solution since it has a lid.Thankfully when I went back they still had it and the size was just perfect for next to the toity!
The lid has a crack and has been glued but I really don’t mind the imperfection. Isn’t the little handle on top adorable?
Looking from the master bathroom into the bedroom…..you can see the bathroom in the reflection of the mirror.
Have a great week my friends!

It's perfect Des!! LOVE the shot looking into your bedroom!
Love it! I have not found one with a handle. Bailey loves to shred paper too while we are out.
Super cute idea! Your bedroom and bath look fabulous!

Gorgeous bathroom and I love the floor, it is fabulous. Your bedroom is beautiful too.
It's perfect, Des! We had to resort to getting a bin with a lid for the bathrooms too...Holly loved to dig stuff out of the trash. Q-tips were a favorite of hers. :) I love the flooring in your bathroom too! So pretty! You're so lucky they still had the chamber pot when you went back. It's because you said "Rabbit" on the first of the month, right? ;)
I love the curvy shape of your chamber pot. Having a lid is an added bonus, and I love the longer handle on the pot. Perfect for trash.

Wonderful find and a great use as well! :)
The first time I saw your home was in Midwest Living magazine... the Christmas shoot. So glad I stumbled across your blog!

Great find....glad it was still there when you went back for it!
So glad you had that epiphany of how you can use the chamber pot as it is great in the bathroom!!!
Love your find Des! Your home is always so full of inspiration.
Deserae,
The Ironstone looks so sturdy, and it goes nicely in the bathroom. Glad you decided to get it. It worked out for you.
You were born on a Thursday? Nel was too. You both are go-getters and have so much to accomplish in life. Here's to Thursday's Child!

Des, this is a great addition to your bathroom. Love the bistro chair. My goal is to find one chair once settled. Love your bedding!

I am in love with your duvet cover and bedskirt. Can you share with me where you got them or what brand they are? Thanks!
