Okay, I have to admit…..I have had the shades up in
the kitchen for a few months now.
At first I did not like them but they sort of grew
on me after a while!
I really, really wanted the shades that Pottery Barn offers
but as you can imagine my windows are very
large and are a custom size.
So, I bought the shades and added the grosgrain ribbon myself.
I bought the ribbon on eBay
and attached it to the shades with fabric glue.
It was an easy process, just very time consuming.
I like that the shades don’t
block the light and offer privacy when needed.

ReplyDeleteYour kitchen's so charming, Deserae, and I spotted my favorite rooster in the corner. I love her. You have much sunlight coming in through your kitchen window. It must be nice to look out your window every day and see what's going on with nature.

The new shades look great and I love the ribbon you chose. It's nice that they kind of filter the light too and don't totally block it. Very nice addition!
