I picked up this cute little pitch pot a couple of months ago while out junking. I just adore the shape of the little pitch pots and have several in my collection now.
This one still had the wire hanger attached when I found it. At first I couldn’t find a spot to hang it so I placed it on the French baker’s rack in the kitchen with a bird nest in it. Finally the other day I decided to take the wire hanger off and add a candle…….I have no idea why I didn’t think of that sooner?!?!?!
It was the perfect size for the little table in the living room next to the wing chair. I didn’t notice the name J Meyer on the bottom of the pot when I first bought it. I wonder, is that the maker of the pot or the person the pot was made for?
Have a great week my friends!

ReplyDeleteLove your little candle.
ReplyDeleteI love it! I didn't know that's what those pots were called. I love the patina and shape as well. Did you place a candle in it or pour a candle in it? It looks like it's poured in.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of a pitch pot before, but I love yours! What a good idea to put a candle in it too! I think I've told you this before, but I LOVE that little table it's sitting on! So pretty!
