A little chair makeover…….

chair3

I bought a set of these cute little French chairs to use in my dining room but I ended up using something else instead. So since I needed a chair in the guest bedroom one found a spot there.
I sort of forgot to snap a before photo so I took this right before I started working on the chair.

As I started to work on the chair I realized that it wasn't in as good as condition as I originally thought so it was probably best that I didn't decide to use it in the dining room. I used a shade of light grey paint and then a dark paste wax to finish it off.

The details really stand out now…..

A little slipcovered cushion and a monogrammed pillow were added for the finishing touch……

  13. wow, Deserae, that little chair looks completely different. In the pictures it looks more of a cream paint than a grey. You did a great job on it, and it looks so nice next to the table. I am in love with your crown. :~)

    Have a good Wednesday.
