My mother-in-law recently gifted me with a couple of family heirlooms.
This beautiful cake dome was one of the treasures.
The glass is really thick, I was surprised at how heavy the dome is.
The other thing she gifted me was the small wood cutting board.
I also picked up these glass cannisters the other day when we were at the antique mall.

Family heirlooms are such treasures, aren't they? I love that glass cake dome, and oh my, those cookies look good. Chocolate Chip? I like the glass canisters you got at the antique mall too. Hi Des. That is really a beautiful cake dome and the cake dish is gorgeous too. I am so jealous of your cutting boards. I had a few many years ago, very old ones, and then I sold them! Now I can't afford one plus I really don't see them around flea markets and thrift stores now, like I did back then. Your kitchen looks so pretty..Happy Thursday..Judy
