Changes to the French vasselier….

The other day I changed the French vasselier up and added clam shells, coral,

and books for a lighter look.

The large clam shell holds photos of my mom when she was a little girl….

The restyled vasselier…….

 

I was looking at pictures one day and I realized I have had the vaselier in the living room styled the same way for……years. It was certainly time to change things up a little!

This is how it looked:

I decided I wanted something completely different and lighter. At first I filled the cabinet with some of my white ironstone pieces but it wasn’t quite right. So I added some coral pieces and books…

I am loving  the new lighter simpler look……
