My new grain sack pillows….

A couple of years ago when we

were in Texas

I bought a few grain sacks to make into pillows.

I never had the heart to cut them up so there they sat nicely folded……..

The other day I finally decided to take the plunge and make them into pillows.

After all….what am I waiting for?

I’m certainly not getting any younger!!!!

  8. Hi Des: So lovely. My sister-in-law gave me a small canvas sack from her family in Georgia that was for peanuts. I think I'll turn it into a pillow one of these days.. Wonderful idea.. Happy Monday..Judy

  10. You did the right thing, Des! : ) They look great. I've started to stop "saving" things and just use them. What am I saving them for? I'm certainly not getting any joy out of things put away in drawers or storage.

  24. These are great Des! I have some pillows I need to make but I keep procrastinating since I have never made any before. I am spying your gorgeous stairs in the background. It looks like they do not have a bull nose but are flat. Are they just the planks that were there or are they new treads? I want too redo our stairs and if possible just use the planks that are already there and stain um but hubby is not keen to that plan.
